It is striking how many Democrats are offended by the simple desire of their opponents to win. Wait, is it wrong for McCain and Palin to want to win or something?

Follow up:

Say anything positive about McCain or negative about Obama and they shriek like those pod people in Invasion of The Body Snatchers.

In fact, that should be the next McCain add:

Lower Manhattan: A group of urban women standing on a NY city square talking glowingly about Obama, then a Palin/Hasselbeck type says she likes the change that John McCain could bring. Then, her colleagues who have a suspiciously alarming lack of facial affect suddenly point at her and start shrieking. She runs and runs until she reaches the Elizabeth Seton Shrine in New York City. The pod people, after chasing her, turn away powerless to follow her into the sanctuary of the church.

Tons of symbolism.
