John McCain put his money where is mouth is today by taking all his ads down and suspending his campaign and its accompanying rhetoric to assist in Washington with resolving issues related to passage of the bailout we must now accept.
Follow up:
That is leadership.
What is Obama's reaction at his press conference?
He offers two points:
A> Call me if you need me. (Well, now we know we don't)
B> "Now is the time for a debate because of the crisis."
That is stupid because it completely misses McCain's point. McCain wants to delay the debate NOT because he does not see the importance of it but because the partisan nature of the debate can potentially adversely affect passage of the important legislation. The delay proposal has NOTHING to do with "multi-tasking" contrary to the idiotic protestations of Barack Obama.
Wake up, America. This man, though perhaps talented on some level, is profoundly ill-prepared.
