VP Debate: Palin Takes It

10/02/08 | by Albacheeser [mail] | Categories: Issues of The Day, Nation (US)

The Vice Presidential Debate was key because Palin has re-ignited the base of the McCain campaign particularly with supporters that tend to vote Republican in prior elections.

Follow up:

Normally the VP Debate is not determinative of the general election, but as Fred Barnes said tonight "She undid the conventional wisdom about her."

There were 10 factual statements that Biden made that were completely wrong, so I hear. I'm going to check into that and report back.

The only thing I would have done more is to counter punch more, but overall she clearly gave the best impression as he scoured ever more as the debate went on. His eastern "elitism" was coming out.

The media is the big loser because they just lost a lot of credibility over Palin.
